Stop Dumping: EU Protects European Wood Industry!

Since 16 January, Brussels has introduced duties of up to 49.2% on wooden floors from China, with the aim of restoring fair competition. For years, these products have flooded the European market with unrealistically low prices, penalising local producers who respect rigorous standards of quality, safety and sustainability.

What’s changing?

01. Until last December, Chinese floors were often cheaper, despite having similar technical characteristics to European ones. Now, thanks to the new duties, this price difference has almost been eliminated.

02. European producers will finally be able to compete on equal terms, guaranteeing authentic quality and transparent supply chains.
