For wooden floors, reference is made to the regulations and standards set by Italian legislation to ensure that they are environmentally sustainable. The ministerial decree that refers is no. 256 of 23 June 2022. The main minimum environmental criteria to be respected are the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>01.<\/strong> Origin of the wood: the wood used, both the noble part and the multilayer, must come from sustainable sources and FSC 100% certified. Triveneta Parchetti is FSC certified<\/p>\n<p><strong>02.<\/strong> Treatments and finishes: Wooden floors must be treated with paints and finishes with a low content of volatile toxic substances (VOC).<\/p>\n<p><strong>03.<\/strong> Recyclability and durability: Floors must be designed to last over time and be easily disposed of at the end of their useful life<\/p>\n<p><strong>04.<\/strong> Formaldehyde emissions: Wooden floors are expected to comply with strict limits for formaldehyde emissions, a chemical substance potentially harmful to health.
